General Registration Information
SAIL registration for the 2012-2013 school year is approaching quickly.

Please go on line to www.winchestersail.org to view the 2012-2013 schedule and course descriptions. You will find these under the Registration section of the website. On the website, you will also find all the necessary registration forms. The teacher biographies are located in the password protected section of the website (members only).

There are some changes and other important things to note regarding registration this year that you need to be aware of prior to registering.

  1. Because the cooking class is extremely popular, it fills up quickly; as a result, many students have not been able to take it. Therefore, students who have already taken cooking are encouraged to take another class instead. Cooking should be reserved for students who have not yet taken the class.

  2. Teacher approval is required for all new students in writing classes. Please send writing samples to Janet Beavin (janetbeavin@comcast.net) prior to registration.

  3. If you are registering for a class that requires a prerequisite, you must submit a signed prerequisite verification form when registering.

  4. Registration will primarily be handled via email this year to save everyone the time and frustration of standing in line.

  5. There will be NO refunds of any monies paid AFTER your first tuition payment is made on June 1st.

  6. Any class substitutions made after first tuition payment is made will be charged $20 per transaction. For example: You are registered and have paid for Cooking class and wish to take U.S. Geography instead, you will forfeit the money you already paid for the original class, be responsible for paying any difference (if any) for the new class as well as charged a $20 fee to change and that will be added to your 2nd tuition payment. There will not be a charge to add/drop classes.

New students must register in person and must have an interview with a board member prior to registering. This includes rising Jr. SAIL students. Please do not bring in your paperwork or class choices until your interview has been completed. Contact Jennifer Ashley at winchestersail@gmail.com for questions or to forward your information to the board for scheduling an interview.

Instructions for registering via email for returning SAIL and rising Jr. SAIL students:

Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Please email your student’s name, grade and course selections to winchestersail@gmail.com. You will receive an invoice confirming your course selections and accompanying fees via email.
